Classi K-9 Clips of Meridian, ID, we strive to make your pets stay with us a happy and comfortable experience. We genuinely care about our furry clients and want them to be happy to come back to see us. With minimal time in kennels your pet is free to play with new friends and hang out with the staff. This makes them relaxed and as stress free as possible. We promise to do our best to make your pet look their very best while caring for them in a kind, gentle and professional atmosphere. Classi K-9 Clips is owned and operated by Shirley Schaeffer, NCMG. She has been grooming since 1987. She taught at Tara Lara K-9 Academy, a major grooming school, for 3 years. She was certified as a Master Groomer with the National Dog Groomers Association of America in 1990. She entered her first grooming competition in 1991 at the 1st Annual Northwest Grooming Show in Portland, Oregon. She won 4th place in the Sporting Group with her American Cocker, Jillshire's Center Stage, otherwise known as Sammy. She has attended workshops at various Grooming seminars or shows including Intergroom in New Jersey. She has shown American Cocker Spaniels and still has an affinity for the breed. Although she is an All Breed Groomer, some of her specialties include Cocker Spaniels, Kerry Blue Terriers, Wheaton Terriers, Bichon Frises, and Poodles.
